High School Volunteer Abroad

Independent Teen Program
Volunteers between the ages of 16 – 17 can travel independently on 14 IVHQ programs. Teen volunteers work on IVHQ’s traditonal volunteering projects alongside volunteers of all ages, however they are accommodated separately.
High School Groups
High school students and teens can volunteer as a group if they have eight or more interested group members that are accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. You will receive full support of the PHIVolunteering Groups team to plan your trip.

INDEPENDENT TEEN PROGRAMS
If you’re looking for summer volunteer programs suitable for high school students, or teen volunteer programs that offer cultural immersion at any time of year, PHIVolunteering’s youth volunteer program selection has the right option for you.
Programs range in duration from 1 week to 24 weeks and start from only $270.
Volunteers between the ages of 16-17 can travel independently. Teen volunteers on these projects work alongside volunteers of all ages, however they are accommodated separately.
Teen volunteers are required to provide PHIVolunteering with parental/guardian consent and two satisfactory character references in order to participate. You may also be asked to provide further documentation to the local team depending on your chosen destination.
